ICAEW
Thinking about a career in accountancy?
We are a professional membership organisation, offering a range of qualifications that will set you up with the essential skills needed in any business. If you are starting out in your career we offer the Certificate in Finance Accounting and Business (CFAB) that will give you practical and essential knowledge that can be used in any industry. If you are looking to aim high and achieve the acclaimed status of an ICAEW Chartered Accountant, our ACA qualification is a leading business and finance qualification both internationally recognised and valued.
We develop and support individuals, organisations and communities to help them achieve long-term, sustainable economic value. Because of us, people can do business with confidence.
AAT
AAT is the UK’s leading qualification and professional membership body for accounting staff with over 120,000 members worldwide.
If you are looking for a career in finance then the AAT could be for you. Maybe you’re already working in finance but without a qualification and want to develop your skills, or thinking of changing careers or returning to work after a break.
If you are a school leaver you could become a chartered accountant more quickly than someone who went to university because you can benefit from exemptions from the chartered bodies such as CIPFA, ICAEW, CIMA and ICAS by studying with AAT.
You don’t need prior qualifications, but if you have relevant school qualifications, a degree or some accounting experience, you might be able to start at a higher level and progress through the qualification faster.
Our course is delivered through more than 450 AAT approved training providers. To find one in your area and register as a student member visit www.aat.org.uk/start
Our qualifications
Our vocational qualifications are designed to give students practical accounting skills that can be used instantly in the workplace. Many employers prefer to recruit AAT trained staff and some employers also support their staff through the AAT qualification.
Our qualifications include:
- AAT Access – Level 1
- The AAT Accounting Qualification – Level 2, 3 and 4
- The AAT Level 2 Award in Bookkeeping (QCF)
