The Financial Skills Partnership (FSP) is the Sector Skills Council for finance, accountancy and financial services.  We work on behalf of employers, representing a footprint of over 2 million people working in over 34,000 firms in the sectors across the UK.  Our vision is that the future and current workforce has the right skills to support sector development, thereby enabling the UK to maintain and grow its position of strength in the global economy.  The FSP is one of 22 Sector Skills Councils, a network which provides the employer leadership to address skills needs within and across sectors. 

The SSC license is the unique identifier which signals to employers and government that they are a focal point for raising skills in sectors to drive enterprise, jobs and growth. Through their sectoral reach, SSCs are ideally placed to articulate the voice of employers on skills; to develop innovative skills solutions, to create jobs and to galvanise employer ambition and investment.  In doing so, they are key strategic partners in creating the conditions for increased investment in skills.
